Right then, I know I’m a bit behind the curve about this, but I’m pretty sure that the Agora Pro handset from Aussie odd-company Kogan is going to give those bastards at T-Mobile a run for their money. I’ve been looking for a way to get an Android handset on Pay-As-You-Go since before it came out. 3 UK have a slightly broken internet browsing packs on prepay; It lets you tether to a sony-ericsson or Windows Mobile phone and browse without limits. I’m sure they’d notice if I started ratcheting up multi-gigabyte torrent of usenet downloads, but for run-of-the mill everyday sysadmin and emergency internet access, it suffices. This phone seems to fit slap-bang in the middle of my phone dream-specs:
- Android OS
- 3G
- Touchscreen AND Keyboard
- GPS
- Reasonable phone camera (2MP)
- microSD Card slot
